Ganesha was left at Mahagunas Hill along with the snakes that were left at Sheshnag, along with his five elements at Panchtarni, after which they both went inside the holy cave. Lord Shiva generated a fire to destroy all the living being inside and outside of the cave so that no living being should be hearing the clandestine of immortality after which he narrated his story to parvati. But there were two eggs of pigeons that were left behind and were been protected underneath the Lord Shiva’s deerskin, unhurt from the flames. Those pair of the pigeons are been seen too many of the pilgrims till now.
